What’s the difference between screen printed and dye sublimation lanyards?

Screen printed is the most cost effective option.  A polyester lanyard, available in 4 widths – 10mm, 15mm, 20mm and 25mm is Pantone matched to your chosen colour.  The design is then screen printed on to the lanyard in either a 1, 2, 3 or full colour process, depending on the design required.  Screen printing is not suitable for highly intricate or detailed designs but works well for block text and logos.  It is possible to print on just one or both sides of the lanyard.

Dye sublimation lanyards give a Premium finish.  A full colour, two sided print on to a smooth polyester lanyard, available in 3 widths - 10mm, 15mm or 20mm, dye sublimation is ideal for detailed or intricate designs.

Dye sublimation printing allows for exact Pantone colour matching and reproduction of complex designs and logos.  It’s the best option for a impressive design on your personalised lanyards!

What fittings do your lanyards come with?

Our lanyards come with a metal trigger clip as standard.  If you require another style of fitting, then please contact us for a price.

What is a Health & Safety breakaway?

All of our lanyards come with a single health and safety breakaway as standard.  Whilst currently not compulsory, we believe H&S breakaways are essential for protecting the wearer in case the lanyard gets caught or trapped.  The H&S breakaway allows the lanyards to snap in two when put under pressure, and then easily put back together again.

In particularly high-risk environments, such as health care and manufacturing, we recommend opting for additional breakaways, meaning the lanyard will break in multiple places if it’s pulled or gets caught in machinery.
